Templar and Hospitaller Route of the Espluga de Francolí
You will know the past with the technology of the future
Discover the Espluga de Francolí through a tour of the old town.
Different audiovisuals will take you into the daily life of lords, farmers, Jews or minstrelsy and you will see what a town was like in the 14th century.
You will visit the Old Church and the hospital for the poor, you will be surprised by the virtual recreation of the castle that dominated the town and you will learn about the origin and extinction of the military orders of the Templars and Hospitallers.
You will also discover with the projection of holograms the ritual of a purifying bath in a Jewish mikvé, the workshop of a church glazier and the manufacture of stained glass.
The route, always guided, includes augmented virtual reality technology with glasses and mobile device included.
