Fassina Balanyà
Museum of the old Espluga de Francolí brandy factory
The Fassina Balanyà was a small family industry that has its origins in the 1830s.
During the visit you will learn about the importance of brandy production and trade in Catalonia. In addition, through the restored machinery we will explain to you the production process to obtain brandy from the grape must and the use of the by-products generated.
The Fassina Balanyà is part of the network of industrial museums of the Territorial System of the National Museum of Science and Technology of Catalonia (STmNACTEC).

From Tuesday to Saturday: From 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sundays and holidays: From 10.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.
Closing days 2024: Mondays (except August and public holidays), January 1 and 6, January 9, 10, 11 and 12, December 24, 25, 26 and 31.
The visit lasts approximately 1 hour.
13th october: visit witout distillation. Price: 2€
